It’s becoming a tradition with our family to have Mother’s Day brunch at the awesome Flying Chestnut Kitchen in Eugenia Falls (see last year’s post). They don’t have a website but check out rave reviews here. Although it was hailing/snowing/raining, we had a great time being the loudest, craziest bunch out for brunch. Also somehow my 3 year old nephew Maverick ordered his own french toast when none of us were looking, so we had one giant delicious dish too many. What a guy. Here are some pics! By the end of this month, my husband and I will officially be proud new owners of a home in Clarkson Village/Port Credit area of Mississauga. I would have blogged about the ordeal of looking for a new home… if it had taken more than 10 minutes. But seriously, that’s all it took. It was the second house we saw with the realtor, and we both just knew it was the one. I can’t wait to blog about the adventures of home ownership… decorating, gardening and diy’ing! My favourite film festival is in town and I’m so excited! My friend and I are going to see Northern light tonight, by young film director Nick Bentgen. Tomorrow I’ll be seeing 12 O’Clock Boys. Hope you have a lovely sunny weekend!
